If that were a reason, Ichigo would have gotten his powers back from being around Isshin for so long without his powers.

2 years of Isshin who can control his reitsu vs. 15ish years of Ichigo who released reitsu like crazy. No, Ichigo wouldn't have regained his powers so quickly.

I suppose he wouldn't regain them quickly. Well, fulbring it is. He will use it on his soul and restore his shinigami and hollow powers which will then become self sufficient.

Just read the new chap; Ichigo is going to use fulbring on his badge. Anybody else think it will become more able to activate his shinigame powers?

That seems the most likely conclusion.
By the way isn't there something a little weird about this arc.
There seems to be no antagonist even though there was some sort of foreshadowing about danger.

well that's kubo's style he doesn't introduce to the enemy but more of you need to work out who it could possibly be before he tells the audience.

I see now that you've mentioned it does kinda seem that way.
You think there's another side to this? Like another group who would probably be the ones that attacked Ishida? Or maybe the Fullbringers were the ones who attacked Ishida after all that'd add an interesting twist to the story when Ichigo finds out.

It will shape up to be a pretty good arc, I think, the only question is, what will his badge look like when Ichigo uses fullbring?

well the other fullbringers think it'll give him his powers back which would make sense, but that seems a bit to obvious. I think Ichigo will unlock a new level of power

In theory Orihime is a fullbringer but she doesn't know it ?

I agree, she fulbrings her pins to allow them to do what they do. The odd part is that she has spiritual power, which the fulbringers seem to lack.
