I think that they are related to the person who took out Ishida. I think that they are from all of the "races" of bleach and had each reached a "Transcentendal" state before losing their powers. There would be a quincy, a vizard, an arrancar and a shinigami. Note that there are four people there, now, the will have the fifth race, the human, the one who is both one race and all races. Sorry for sounding dramatic, just trying to point out the potential pattern and no, I don't have any evidence for my theory.

i mean i just got tired of Arrancars for a veeeeeery long time. i just think Kubo went too long on that Arc and forgot the roots of Bleach which i rlly enjoyed.
But yea Isshin is connected to Xcution in someway and it is a possibilty he got his powers back from them too. But Urahara is somehow involved too... Something must hav happened between the 100 years on Earth
