I also wonder what the Fourteenth would do if he ever did get to become the Earl himself. Since the Earl's duty seems to be wreaking havoc by creating Akuma, what about the Fourteenth?
I can't remember. Did he just want to kill him, or take over his position?
I'm confused does this mean that only Noahs can take the position to become the Earl or not ??Since the Earl leads the Noah, I'm guessing that who ever comes the Earl will lead the Noah.
Okay, The Earl was the first noah (or something like that). He came first. Then came the others. Remember, the 14th is an egnima. There was never ment to be a 14th.Adam (aka the Earl) was the leader and always the leader. The 14th came along and wanted the position. The others don't want to be Earl. As Road said earlier in the series, they are the sacrificial lambs. I don't think they CAN be the Earl. The Earl, I don't think, is like the other Noah. I'm guessing the the others are only ment to be followers. With the 14th, I'd say it's different. It's like having a rival pop out of nowhere. At least, that's how I think it is. What is everyone elses opinion?

I believe it's only a Noah can because Akuma only listen to him or a Noah. And yes it seems the Earl holds the position of leader.
yeah that might work except the 14th is using Allens body as a host which kinda sucks since I wanted to see more of a fight, generally Lenalee since her new boots where only used once so far and I'd like to see what else she can do with them, I'd also like to see Lavi and Kanda's weapons evolve like Lenalees and Allens
I guess that could work but still they'd have to defeat the Earl in order to stop the Noah completely, or turn the Noah back in to normal human beings.
