Who would win?
« on: August 23, 2010, 01:58:59 AM »
So if there was a war between cubes (3D squares) and spheres (3D circles), who would win?

spheres could have a good offense because they can roll can smash into stuff.

cubes would have a good defense because they have ancles that can hurt if you run into it.

Depends on which is larger. But i believe triangles will win, hands down. After all, they are spikey. If a sphere tries to roll over a triangle, it will get peirced like a thorn. And triangles can ram a square and puncture it. Clearly triangles are the superior.

excuse me, if you haven't notice, spheres have the supreme mobility and speed, and also the spinning skill which can repel attacks....
this reminds me of geometry wars, a great game XD...
you should also add a poll...

but triangles aren't an option.

i did not notice the ability for the sphere to do that, thank-you for pointing it out.

and i shall try and figure out how to add a poll.

I dont care. Triangles are awesome, and they will come in and rape both the squares and the circles and enslave them both.

you forgot an important factor...GRAVITY!!! how will the triangle pierce the sphere if the pikes in the bottom are on the floor, they aren't floating...the sphere will just tackle the triangle to death!!!!!!

no no, take a rubber ball over a spike.... And it pops, cause the spike is under the ball. THats right, the smaller triangles will own even the largest sphere.

And BTW, great. Cause unless the ball is on an incline, the ball wont move an inch! So clearly gravity is a detriment to all three races.

Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the center of my eye?
Oh, squiggly line,
it's alright, you are forgiven.

True, but a block-based baracade would not hold against a giant rolling sphere now would it?

I vote for sphere, no weakpoints. while a square has weakpoints that when attacked in a spot that opposes it's weight, it looses, when spheres roll to triangles, it'll roll in the slope just like a ramp, also for a pyramid, a sphere attacking a four sided shape, it will just bounce or break through the flat side, also for the cube, rhombus, parallelogram, rectangle, and for shapes that has sides, for a cone, it can stop a cube if it has an round opening so it can stop the sphere.

And, it depends on the material.

isn't that a bit too much
still i think its the sphere would win, its speed gathered from bouncing around can add up to its strength

plus the "triangle could puncture it" argument is moot because it is a sphere, not a baloon and a sphere is assumed to be solid.

Hexagons are inferior half breeds of circles and squares doing the dirty! Circles for the win!
