Most of the animes that are based off of manga, i find, suck.

I prefer manga.

But then again, there are really good animes, to which the later manga adaptions sucked. Cowboy Bebop would be one example. But you dont find many...

I prefer both, there are lots of differences between manga and anime, and they have their own unique styles that you can't completely judge them.

So I would like for a 'both' option to be available so I can vote.

But you can judge them, especially the anime that are based off the manga, and vice versa.

in my opinion the only thing good about the anime is the fight scene where they show it better than the manga, one example is jiraiya vs pain and 6tailed naruto vs pain.

other than that i think manga is still better

Manga, but anime sometimes fills my need of fangirl (Like Ciel Phantomhive, he looks absolutely amazing in KuroII)
I don't really mind fillers, as long as they're not awfully long and lame (like Naruto)

There are animes that are not based of the manga, and anime is somewhat harder, you need to animate it.

the only thing I hate about anime is that they somtimes change the story and add new arcs or episodes so that it would be longer.... (that makes it worst) ..... just like KHR ...... they even change the faces T.T

There's a reasonable answer for that, you don't expect Amano to draw everything, and animes are made by a group, not by a single person. And it's hard to copy drawing styles.

If animes copy the exact same thing from mangas, it'll be dull since it's technically the same, why bother make an anime if it's exactly the same as the manga?

Well I'm disappointed at the Umineko anime since they skipped A LOT of scenes, but I'm proud of the art they used instead using the Visual Novel art, that is the kind of anime that uses better art styles.

Visual Novel:

I've seen over a thousand anime, so I'd have to say anime though, I rarely enjoy anime as much as I enjoy manga. It's just harder to find a really good manga that I really enjoy. This is why I read manga in 100-200 chapter marathons. (12+ hours at a time)

It's also a bit harder to keep up with manga for me, since, in the AMV community, it's rarely manga, but always Anime Anime Anime.

Well most people here read the manga, and they enjoy it even it's not done yet.

There are also lots of sites that has a variety of manga to choose from, you can have another community if you like, I'm enjoying reading manga as much as watching anime.

I never said that all animes are basedoff of manga. But some are, and those you can clearly judge which is better, no?

Not at all. If you actually saw what goes into drawing a manga, you would know that many times, assistants fill in some of the character spots.

There are lot's of styles differentiating anime and manga, you can't judge them specifically since they always change, but you can judge them from your taste. I love both styles overall.

Of course, but in animes, more people are needed, in mangas, it's fewer.
