Hey i know it sounds like were did this come from but think about it for a secound.
1. the milifiore are the sole embodiment of Daemon Spades Ideals - one huge dominant family, no one in comparison, wipe out all threats
2. they started the same way as shimon have in this arc atack the vongola
3. and most importantly if you look in this link

you can see the mist exit the body not just that but in the anime he refers to the monk as a host just like kotaou julie where daemon is just mist flames inside him.
i had other points but i forgot so ill post them later
so what do you think of this theory?

Yeah, plus it usually takes a good week for a theory to get posts on it.

Overall, I doubt it, if he was Daemon, he wouldn't have lost to Vongola.

Well it might be right though it would certainly explain how Daemon has intel about the fights from that arc. Plus if somehow Torikabuto was something of a weak vessel or weak compatibility or simply a prototype it would explain why he lost. Of course at this point unless anything is said the best we can do is speculate.

Well, Daemon saw all the gears during the battle with Byakuran via the ring, so that explains how he had the intel.

The Vongola ring of mist. When the true forms of the vongola rings were revealed, Daemon and the rest of the first gen were projected through the rings.

Yes but neither Chrome nor Mukuro wasn't present in much of the fights and the times with info so it wouldn't suffice to say that he got all his info from the Vongola side. I think he had some sort of link in Millefiore as well though I suppose not necessarily torikabuto. And we're off topic.

cant say the theory is wrong tho. if anything im racking my brain just trying to process it @_@. if anything Tori's illusions could fool Tsuna's Hyper Intuition which is pretty big and could be at least be Daemon's level. Though they did say that Torikabuto was just a mask but still very confusing

I know this thread is old but I want to share my own opinion about this.

I think not, since Torikabuto is loyal to Byakuran(?), Daemon is loyal to Vongola.

Well, it certainly is a good point that he seemed loyal to Byakuran, or at least hostile to Vongola, but he also seems to have been hostile to the present Vongola as well,

I don't think so, or else he'd wouldn't have hidden. Plus, he wouldn't want Byakuran to conquer the world and have Vongola non-existent.
