Okay seeing this again I'm kinda thinking there's something to this. Torikabuto was supposedly possessed so why not Daemon. As to the whole why be against Vongola thing we know Daemon isn't opposed to destroying Vongola and rebuilding it to his specifications. Then look at what Byakuran hopes to achieve and his methods in doing so. It feels a whole lot like something Daemon would approve of. Too bad we may never know the truth.

by torikabuto's body, we refer to the monk, thats why it is believed that torikabutos consciousness was daemon

yea but the Monk was the Host, Torikabuto is a Parasite which is the Mask. When Tsuna beat the Monk the body was worn out, as well as the mask being cracked. why did u think they took the mask instead of the body? if anything Daemon's consciousness should be within the mask, not the body

But, via the mask, he took over and became Torikabuto. The point is that we think Daemon has been involved since the last arc and we just weren't told.
