why tsuna doesnt use his other ring?

i think the makers forgot about the sky ring that Lancia gave him after the ring fight also i think tsuna should of gotten other boxs since sky can use any boxs anyways. tell me what you think of this =3

The ring has served it's purpose: protecting him from byakuran. It is not needed nor can it be compared to the VG so....

I agree, seems that Lancia's ring already had its time. As for the boxes, adult Hibari said to Tsuna that the sky can open every box but can't drain out its full power, so I think there's no point in dragging around something only remotely useful.

We aren't sure it is a Sky ring, it could be another type. They haven't expressly said it was one. Besides he has his Vongola Ring to use and probably has a greater output.

A momentum is a nice thing, maybe it'll be helpful for Tsuna when a time comes...

Well, aside from it grabbing the attention of the mosca at the start of the future arc, it saved Tsuna from Byakuran so I think that's all the purpose it really needs. But maybe it'll make an appearance again sometime down the line.

Also, when did they clarify that it was a Sky Ring? I knew Lancia gave him a ring, but I don't remember it having a given element to it?

Lanchia said it was his boss's ring and treasure. As we've seen so far, all mafia bosses have sky flames. I don't know if it's some kind of "rule", but that's how it's been so far.

Also, in the anime, the stone on the ring was orange...

Off topic: It just seems that leaders in general are more likely to have Sky, not mandatory but an existing pattern

On topic: It may have a purpose in this arc too, if Vongola loses against Shimon and Vindice takes their Gear, maybe they'll overlook Lanchia's ring.

But it will have to be ridiculously powerful, or have a very useful ability for Tsuna to be able to fight Vindice with just that... And no matter how you see it, his gear will be far superior either way, it was specifically made to suit him and bring his full power out.

I agree though, it should have some kind of importance in this arc too...

Vindice won't overlook anything, they're definitely strict about imprisonment.
