Why You Want This Position: Hmm. I thought instead of waiting around on my butt all day I could actually do something productive and maybe help out a little.
Your Time Available:  Saturday, Sunday, Monday-thurs From about 5pm to 10pm
Experience: Uhm none besides the practice sheets and I did one for my friend once who wanted to add some random phrases to a manga page

seems like you're not using the right font. go read guideline here.

reborn: you need to put texts over japanese texts and then clone the  back ground to completely get rid of japanese texts.

For the Cleans critiquing, could you put them in a .zip or .rar file and upload them? In order to really judge them its best that way @.@

It's simple to do I'll help ya out.

1. Create a new folder in pictures, or wherever your cleans are located.

2. Put cleans in said folder.

3. Select the folder (will show a checkmark or be lighlighted when selected) and right click and select "send to" > "compressed (zipped) folder." (Remember this folder's location for later.)

4. Go to http://www.mediafire.com/ and click green box labeled "upload to media fire" (without an account).

5. Click "Upload your files".

6. Browse for your zipped folder created in step 3.

7. Click the green box labeled "Begin uploading files"

8. Click "My files" on the home page and find the item with the date stamp that you uploaded the folder and click it.

9. Copy and paste the URL ( website address) to this forum.

There ya go, good luck with your cleans.  :m001:

oops sorry there destiny..  ;^^

i can only judge your cleans.. i do typeset but.. typesetters should judge your ts. ^^

blazer: burn the blacks. and if you'll look at the 3rd to the last panel, the bubble is filled with gray color.. also, clean out the japanese texts on the bottom and on the left side of the page.

d.gray: overleveled. >.<

dd: the blacks are either overleveled, or overburned..

ft: same with dd and d.gray.

naruto: denoise, burn blacks, clean out blacks on the white surface, crop.

khr: join the pages.

well, the one you did is also the ts test file. ^^ if you wan to be a cleaner all you have to do is clean the pages. for typesetters, clean and typeset.  ;^^

but i'm not qualified to judge your typesets because i'm not a member of the typesetting team.

but anyway! There's a general prob with your pages, and that is that they're not denoised @.@ get one here >> http://www.neatimage.com/

If you try again after denoising (level, Denoise, burn: combiii-iiine!) I'm sure your pages will look aloooot better :).

Also: DGM, Fairytail and Def. Dev. 's blacks are too strong @.@

okaay so

on most pages (Except def devil) overkill on the denoising
also on most pages, it looks like you didn't level or leveled weirdly.

but yeah other than that, Beelzebub and Defense devil are underdenoised, and over leveled.

Soo, practice leveling so that the blacks are black, so that the whites are just right and dont turn the greys too pale or dark.
Also for denoising you need to keep the balance between smooth and detailed.
