What Field You Would Like To Be Positioned In: Cleaner for weekly chapters(I am not willing to do monthlies or 30+ page chapters) of just about any series but KHR/Reborn and Bakuman(they're the only IEM series that I read and would not like my reading experience to be spoiled.)
Why You Want This Position: Well, I applied to be a proofreader about a month ago, but I still haven't heard back. Because I still haven't heard anything back yet, I decided to try to become a cleaner. (Though grammar is what I'm best at.)
Your Time Available: While it's still summer, just about all day, any day. When school starts back up, about 3:00 PM to about 10:00 PM. I have no life, so I can slave away all my free time scanlating manga. :D
Experience: I have no experience with cleaning but I'm in another scanlation group QCing early volume scans of One Piece. I have typesetted a chapter of a monthly a fansub/scanlation group that I'm apart of(I'm their editor for the Toriko anime and was asked if I could typset a chapter)

Rainbow - 6 minutes and 13 seconds
DMW - 18 minutes and 34 seconds
Defence Devel - 39 minutes and 9 seconds
+C - 1 minute and 57 seconds
Beelzebub - 30 minutes and 15 seconds
KHR - 9 minutes and 32 seconds
FT - 44 minutes and 46 seconds

My clean for the FT spread really sucks on the merging part.

Uh, I didn't do VK, did I? I didn't include it in the .rar because it was optional. And I'll start working on a redo soon. I just did my third redo for Red Hawk Scans today, I would like to take a break for a couple hours at least.

EDIT: Also, I'm a cleaner, isn't it the typesetter's job  to do the redrawning stuff?
EDIT2:　And on the +C clean, aren't I supposed to remove the Japanese text? Part of the cleaner's job is to remove the Japanese text, right?

+C: A bit blurry, didn't crop of enough at the top. (look at the top right corner)

BB: Grays are bit noisy, but I can live with it for the test. Burn the blacks. Level the whites a bit. Crop off left side a bit.

DMW: Redraw the white lines at the right side just above the black rectangle. Pretty good =)

DD: This one needs some work. Grays aren't right yet. Don't worry about losing detail while denoising for this one. To get this one right you MUST redraw the black lines in the grays or it will look bad 100% =/

FT: What did you do here? o.O These look like they were cleaned separately. You should merge them, clean and then redraw the middle part. Grays look weird here, merge is too visible and left side the part where the gray/black mixes look weird.

KHR: Crop left side, too noisy and the page is also too light.

Rainbow: Overleveled whites. Forgot to crop of the bottom.

Yes, for text that is on the background. Double pages must be redrawn by cleaners and lost details too.
