- Once you've posted your application, sit tight and wait for a proofreader to look over it. If s/he approves of your preliminary test, then you will be given a second, longer test. From here, the approval procedure works a bit differently:
• The magic number here is
three: Three different approvals to pass, three disapprovals to be out of the running completely.
• In special cases you may be given the option of taking a
third test. This will be given to applicants that the proofreaders feel are "on the fence". This will happen if at least
two proofreaders decide that you deserve a second chance.
- If you're approved, yay, congratulations! You can go ahead and start proofreading any script we have out. If you feel unsure or want a second opinion, don't be afraid to ask one of your senpai for help, we don't bite!
Most of us.- If you're denied, don't worry! We'll have new tests out after a while, and you can reapply then.
