Name/Nickname: Mary-Dee, or just Dee
Country Of Origin & Time Zone: Born in Canada, living in Canada, EST (I think that's... - or +5 GMC. Or is it called DMC? ....Something like that.)
Gender: F
Age: ...14. Er, almost. Like, in less than a month. So, yeah, let's just say I'm 14.
Enter Msn or Yahoo messenger: I have an MSN, but I don't go on much... But
wolfgirl39@hotmail.com. (If I get an email, though, I might respond with a different email, just because this one has my real name for the account.)
What Field You Would Like To Be Positioned In: Proofreader (*points to subject* xD.)
Why You Want This Position: I've always really wanted to get involved with the scanlating process. That, and I'm kinda-really OCD about spelling and grammar, meaning I tend to mentally correct any conventions errors anyways when I'm reading manga :P.
Your Time Available: After 6, 6:30 PM usually, 'til maybe 1 or 2 AM.
Experience: In a scanlation group, none. But... does proofreading a lot of other stuff count? (..doubt it.)
I'd just like to add that a lot of people call me a grammar Nazi and/or English teacher (though I prefer the latter name), 'cause of my tendency to correct people, so.... :P.
....no idea how to do the spoiler-click-to-show/hide thing, so...

Niko: No cage exists in Polaris!
text: In fact, the story of Polaris is about how "the prince and princess of the Ursa Minor accepted the arranged marriage and lived happily ever after." And that's all.
text: Yes. What intervened in this story was my "imagnation".
Fran: ...The conclusion ought to be the same.
Sfx: Rustling.
text: However, you're being deceptive too. You're talking about your "imagination," since you too have your favourite storyline, "She chose on her own to stay by her love."
p.119
Niko: You're a liar!
text: Aah, why does this child look straight at me with that kind of eyes?
Niko: You deceived me! / You're awful!
text: As if I'm wrong.
Sfx: Breathe in
Fran: Yes.
Fran: Maybe it's a lie. / I thought it would be nice if it were like that.
p.120
text: However, I didn't deceive you. That is to say, stories are told for the purpose of entertaining people...
text: The truth of fiction is almost helpless before "imagination." As for this world, everything is about fact based on evidence.
Fran: It doesn't matter whether it's truth or false. Since it's you who decided if my story was true / You should just accept that if it was interesting.
text: Well, without evidence, even history and fact could become fiction. / I'm only saying that it's more fun if there's room for intervention.
p.121
Fran: That's also why listeners decide on what truth their hearts want.
text: "Cage of Polaris." / This cage is made up of thought called "me." This would also be the truth for people who are happy being locked in a cage.
Fran: You too.
p.122
Fran: Don't you think that freedom of speech and pleasantness lie in there?
Niko: ...
Niko: I don't understand these difficult things, though... / I do understand one thing!
Fran: What is that?
Niko: That you're a pervert!
Sfx: Smile.
Fran: Yes, that's correct. I'm glad that you got it right.
p.123
Fran: --Aah, it's around time for me to go; otherwise it will be too dark.
Niko: ...
~PLEASE IGNORE THE FOLLOWING RAMBLINGS OF DEE THAT REALLY SHOULD BE IGNORED BECAUSE ARE RATHER IRRELEVANT~
....To be honest, this was a bit confusing, just 'cause I have no idea whatsoever as to what they're actually talking about.......
Oh, and by the way, I might've added a "u" in some places just out of force of habit, since I'm Canadian, and I use British spellings, as opposed to American ones. So if I did change those words, sorry xD.
Also, just a question, because I'm obsessive about these things. Why's there only one slash [/] in many places, but a double slash [//] on that one line - the "Maybe it's a lie" one. (*bursts into song* "Maybe it's just a lieeee, maybe it's justtt" waitwhatamIsingingIdon'tevenknow.....)
One more thing. Well, hopefully only one more thing, but I might end up adding more here.... "You should just accept that if it was interesting." I'm not too sure if that was supposed to be "You should just accept that it was interesting," or if he (she?) is trying to say that, if it was interesting, they should just accept that fact. Either way, I don't really think it makes much sensee.... though that might just be me xD.
...ugh. Sorry for all these notes; I've a tendency to want to explain everything and anything I do... yeah. xD.
