Also I would like to address any questions about whether the cleans are actually "clean." Yes they are, the words left on there are for a reason. Typesetters are supposed to be able to put the words over them then clone stamp or erase whatever is still visible.

We prefer that you typeset the pages for the test on your own as we wish to see how you put things in a quick pace where you won't always have the raw. However, when on the team, you will always have access to the raws.

Guidelines
Typeset all the pages with the given translations, do not change any wording. When saving the pages, do a Save to the web as a PNG-8 Perceptual w/diffusion, 64 colors and 100% dither. Just make sure it is clean without looking too pixelated. Keep the setting the same throughout the entire chapter. Place all the pages in a zip folder with your username, and upload to a file sharing website [mediafire.com, sendspace.com or megaupload.com]. Post your application (format found below) with the requested information and the link to your test in a new thread titled [Your username]'s Typesetter Test.

Notes:
- Use caps for every font!!! (There is a caps button in Photoshop, go to Windows > Character. It looks like "TT.")
- Remember to clone if needed.
- If a line has multiple "~" or "!" or "?", please shorten it to a maximum of 3.
- Avoid vertical text, slanted text is fine except for regular dialogue in bubbles
- When needed, use a white stroke of 3 pt. However, for SFX, feel free to make the text white and the stroke black.
- Do not have text touching the edges of the bubbles.
- Do not change the wording of the translations.
- Feel free to contact any typesetter on the team for any questions or comments.
- Avoid using word breaks/hyphens as much as possible.

I've just finished reading all of Fairy Tail manga (up to 197), and I already decided that I want to help out the manga (I noticed the "Help Wanted" posted all over the coloured pages).  I'm skilled in the use of Adobe Photoshop, my typing and grammar are near perfect, and I am able to change between American and European English at any time.  I'll be giving this test a shot, and will try to impress you enough to seriously consider my recruitment into your Manga Team.

EDIT:  My apologies to ask for something so soon, but what fonts are we to use?  Do you have specific fonts that you'd like used in the manga scans?  Not only that, but, if at all possible, could you help shorten the time needed to do this test by posting the links to the required fonts?
